Ian started his career in film with the original iMac, a bit of imagination, and some hard work. Cut to 2018 and Ian’s put his visual directing style for clients such as Apple, Intel, the Detroit Red Wings, the UFC and Specialized Bikes. He’s produced and directed such projects as globally broadcast advertisements to product videos, branded entertainment, and written the short film Hog’s Tooth.

Accolades include a Cynopsis Digital Award for the UFC’s sports documentary series 'Embedded' and picked up a selection at Santa Cruz Film Festival for Kong's in 2018. Ian's work has been featured by Matthew Toffolo, Bike Radar, Power Sports Business, and Gear Junkie.

When not on the road for work or in his home office Ian can be found taking photos or riding his mountain bike in the hills of Santa Cruz California.

Ian's style blends the absurdities of the human condition with a cinematic eye. He leverages truthful reactions in performances and believes that realism drives the best engagement. Ian tells relatable stories and aims for visual beauty. The ultimate goal: stories leaving viewers a laugh, a thought, or an idea to ponder over.
